Katherine Heigl shares how growing up living in a white bubble has impacted the way that she raised her multiracial family. She was in the movie "Firefly Lane", revealed to an interviewer that it didn't matter how dark her skin color was to her. But after having a conversation with her Korean-American adopted sister she realized the difference in how people treated her and her. If I asked Meg how she was treated when in public, with or without our parents, she said it was distinct. Meg replied: "Oh, sure, I've seen everything!' Heigl told her parents she realized how foolish she was. She said that she was frustrated and thought it was crucial to put her anger on helping her adopted daughters. Heigl has a four year old son and a 13-year-old wife, Josh Kelley. The couple's daughter Nancy Leigh was adopted from South Korea by the couple in 2009; Adalaide is a Black 8-year old girl that was adopted by the couple in 2012.
