Markie Post is a noted American actress who is known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBCs sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABCs drama show The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBSs sitcom Hearts Afire. Other than acting she has also appeared on a range of game shows. The Post family, which includes her two sisters and daughter were nurtured by her father, a scientist Richard F. Post, and poet Marylee Post in Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School in Los Angeles was her school that she chose to attend. She participated as a cheerleader. She did a brief stint at Pomona College. Her previous marriage was with Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross has been her husband and co-writer since 1982. They share two girls.
